Ok, here's a fool proof guide to getting this working, someone asked me to write one and this is exactly how I did it and it works for me.

  1. Extract all the downloaded parts (starting from 001 of course, or just the top winrar file in the download folder).
  2. Then go to the folder you extracted to and install the game using the setup.exe.
  3. Install deamon tools if you don't already have it (ya might need to restart if it asks you).
    [Go in to Deamon tools settings and make sure all these are ticked]
    Right click the icon in the system tray (Bottom right of the screen, the icon is grey), choose 'Mount image' and mount the ARMA2.mds DVD-Image. You'll find that in the 'ARMA2_bended (crack)' folder.
  4. Start Yasu, you might need to put it in your Daemon Tools folder for it to find the files it needs to work.

  5. To install the English patch just go to the download folder (the one you extracted) then find the folder called 'arma2_v1_lang_patch (english patch)'.
  6. There are three files in there, all .pbo's. You need to copy 'language.pbo' and 'languagemissions.pbo' to the Addons folder in the installed directory (ie C:GamesArmaIIAddOns) then the other file goes in (C:GamesArmaIIDta). Overwrite if asked. That's done.
  7. Click 'Cloak', that should hide all the evidence that you're using Daemon tools.
  8. After cloaking turn daemon tools off (Right click the system tray icon) and try running the game.

That's exactly what I did. If it gives you a problem with SecuROM try closing Yasu, or try having Daemon tools open and closing yasu, it's all about fiddling with it. For me though it works with Daemon tools off and yasu on.

A reason to solve your problem is to change the 'angle of view'. (don't know how but it's possible). Most 'shooter' games have a 90° angle of view, this game has prob. a angle of view of 75°. So you have to change the 75° to 90°.
The reason the 75° view makes some people fast dizzy is because of the point of view moves much more frequent from up to down, and from left to right.

1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount the image.
3. Install the game, use serial from nfo file when asked for a serial.
4. Use Patch_1.00_to_1.02.58134 to update the game to version 1.02.
5. Copy the crack from the included Crack folder to the installation dir.
