I'm an idiot. For some reason, I had convinced myself that Automata I & II were the best of BTBaM's discography. Now, they're definitely still superb albums, but what I've just listened to is much more than that.
I honestly do not think The Great Misdirect or Colors can top The Parallax. /openstep-installation-of-laminate.html. Swim to the Moon may become my favorite song by this band, but I doubt it'll be much more than that. For the sake of not being repetitive, I'm going to keep my ratings very brief this time.

I love this album. It's one of the best albums I've ever listened to. For me, it's up there with stuff like Octavarium, Black Clouds & Silver Linings, and </Teardrop>. I imagine I'll grow even more fond to it once I look into the story and listen to it again with that knowledge intact. As mentioned before, I think The Parallax is the peak of their discography, though I'd be a bit embarrassed to be proven wrong yet again by these last two albums.. And next up is The Great Misdirect. I'm really excited for Swim to the Moon.
