Shoot Program:The programshall consist of (25) 16-yard targets and (25) handicap targets.Adult price for targets will be $10.00.Junior shooters will pay $5.00.Optional Lewis Purse will be $5.00, theRandom Draw will be $1.00 and the 50 straight option will be $2.00.If a junior shooter elects to play the LewisPurse, Random Draw and/or 50 straight options, the junior shooter must pay theadult price for targets.No shooter mayofficially shoot the program more than once.Starting time will be when at least two (2) teams are represented.
Shooters not present may be presquadded starting atsquad #11.If a shooter is not on theclub premises at the time the squad shoots, the shooter must resquad.Presquadded shooters must also be on the clubpremises by the cutoff time of 8:00 p.m.
2. Team:Each shooter must remain shooting for the team they start for thatseason.
3. Scores:At each shoot, the five highest scores willbe used from each team. Teams will berated on a point system, 5-4-3-2-1, and ties will be divided equally.The shooter with the highest score willreceive a trophy.Ties (of the highestscore) will be decided at the following shoot.Ties at the last regular scheduled shoot will be decided at the BoosterShoot.Ties at the Booster Shoot will beshot off at that shoot. High score atthe Booster Shoot will be awarded 3 boxes of shells at the end of the season.
4.Entry Fee & Trophies:An entry fee of $210.00 (made payable to thesecretary) will be assessed each team for trophies and awards.The entry fee will be paid at the end of eachclub’s first shoot to the Awards/Trophy Committee.If there are insufficient funds at the end ofthe year, each team will be assessed equally to cover trophy expenses.Trophies will include:highest score at each shoot (20 each),Permanent High Team Trophy, High Over All (H.O.A.) average, high 16 yard average,high handicap average, H.O.A. for Lady, Junior, Veteran and Sr. Veteran,individual trophies or 2 boxes of shells for all 50 straight(s).A “Junior” will be all shooters starting thefirst shoot under 19 years of age.Thoseshooters starting the first shoot at 65 through 69 years of age will beclassified as “Veteran” and a “Senior Veteran” will be those which start thefirst shoot at age 70 or older.

It is the shooter’s responsibility to declare thesespecial categories (Lady, Junior, Veteran and Sr. Veteran), to the leaguestatistician.
Tobe eligible for trophies, except 50 straight and individual shoot trophies, ashooter must record at least 800 targets.The lowest scores over the required 800 targets will be omitted whendetermining the averages for trophies.
Theawards people will decide on the brand of shells to give to the winners.Shooters shooting a 50 will receive 2 boxesand the weekly winner will receive 3 boxes at the end of the season.
5. Statistician/SecretaryFee: At each shoot, except theBooster Shoot, the host club will pay $50.00 to the Statistician/Secretary ofthe league.
6. HandicapYardage:The Handicap Yardage Chartdetermined by the shooters previous year overall average will be prepared bythe statistician.This will be eachshooter's starting handicap yardage.There will be no reductionsduring the year.There will also be three (3) yards maximum yardage reduction eachtarget year.No shooter will bereduced below the yardage position that corresponds to their previous yearoverall average.The maximum reductionwill not be lower than the 20-yard line, 19 yards for ladies. For shooters to be eligible for a reductionfor the following shooting year, a shooter must shoot a minimum of 500targets.NOTE:A shooter may refuse the “formulated startingyardage reduction” at their first shoot that year, but must maintain thatyardage from that point forward.Theshooter should also initial their chosen yardage entered on the League BulletinSheet.

Newshooters to the league will beplaced on the 20 yard line, (women 19 yards), unless they have an ATA yardagethat is greater.A new shooter which hashad an established ATA yardage must start hisher league shooting from thatknown ability and shoot at least 500 targets to be eligible for a FranklinCounty yardage review for the upcoming year.
No yardage will be added to any shooter unless earnedat a league shoot.
At each shoot, the shooter(s) with the highest scorewill receive 2 yards additional handicap.The second highest score(s) will receive 1 1/2 yards and the thirdhighest score(s) will receive 1 yard additional handicap.IT IS THE SHOOTERS RESPONSIBILITY TO SEE THATTHE PROPER HANDICAP IS USED.FAILURE TODO SO WILL MAKE THEM SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION.
7.Disqualification:Scores shot in an event for which acontestant is disqualified will not be counted for that team and any trophiesand/or moneys which the contestant has received for an event for which he orshe is disqualified MUST be returned.Returned trophies and/or moneys will be redistributed at the decision ofthe team captains.Any contestant who isdisqualified for any event and FAILS TO RETURN any trophies and/or moneys whichthey received in that event will remain disqualified and will be barred fromshooting Franklin County League targets until all trophies and/or moneys havebeen returned and written notification from the league is received by samecontestant.
8. LewisPurse, Random Draw and 50 Straight:The work sheet for the Lewis Purse as prepared by the current shootmanagement must be posted at the following shoot.Winning scores and payoff information willalso be posted on the website.Winningswill be paid at the next shoot.
The Random Draw winner(s) will be posted on thewebsite with winnings available at the next shoot.The numbers to be included in the draw willbe 15-50.
The 50 straight option winner(s) will beposted on the website with winnings available at the next shoot.
10% of the purse will be withheld as seedmoney.

9.Traps:All clubs must have at least two (2) traps with one trap handicapped to27 yards.A club may shoot practice aslong as it does not interfere with the scheduled shoot.Each club will throw whatever color or styleof target they choose as long as it is for the duration of the shoot
