Subway Brawl
It's now time to re-enact another classic scene from the movie. You'll be battling Agent Smith in the subway. Unfortunately, you're not at the point where you can just waste him with melee moves, so you'll have to try to get him slammed by an oncoming subway. With that in mind, take the battle to the subway tracks right away and keep him busy with some evades and special attacks in focus. Every so often an announcement will be made that there's a train coming. Try to get a combo started right as this message comes on, so that Smith will be stunned as the train comes down the track. Also, it's a good idea to jump out of the way before it slams into you as well. This may take a few times to pull off, but stick to it. Basically, in this part of the mission, you'll just have to stay alive until the flatbed freight train cars start arriving. However, you'll still have to hold off waves of troops while fighting Smith, so it's a good idea to get keep him otherwise occupied as much as possible. As soon as you see a freight train go by on the tracks to the left of the starting point, hop on the flatbed part of it, which will take you to street level.

Once you hit street level, head straight ahead and veer left after the garbage truck. Use focus evades while running to keep from getting hit by too many bullets. Head through the market, but be sure to pick up the health pack and briefcase that appear in the left hand corner (behind the stands) before advancing. Hang a left and head through the alley. When the truck tries to box you in, jump over the wooden crates to the right of it. You'll then see a glowing red sign that says NEO. Head through the first door on your right underneath the sign.

Once you're through the door, go up to the top floor and then follow the long hallways until you see a woman coming out of her apartment to the left. Go through her pad and crash through the glass windows ahead, then jump over the balcony into the alley below..then keep on runnin'. Following a brief cut scene, Neo finally realizes that he is The One. After you become the one, you learn the bullet stop ability which you can also use to hurl bullets back at the shooters. The agents will still be able to dodge them at this point however, so you'll have to take them on hand-to-hand. Fortunately, you're now powerful enough to ace them. Try to take on two at once and you'll be able to link special attacks on both of them. As they lose energy, they'll morph back into cops; take them out right away so that they can't morph back into their bodies. Also, be careful as you walk down hallways trying to escape them because they'll crash through the walls at you. Use the focus evade to dodge to the side as they throw a punch, then strike a few times to set up a combo and you should be able to take them out relatively quickly.

Just make sure he doesn't start shooting you by staying close to him so that he'll always be in hand-to-hand mode. After defeating Smith, you'll complete the mission.
